Northgate has been ramping up exploration activities in keeping with an accelerated development plan. We have recently announced positive results from our feasibility study and are scheduled to commence construction in the summer of 2010.

- Completed the final feasibility study for the project in January 2010
- Added 2.8 million ounces of contained gold on the property
- Received board approval for the development of the Young-Davidson mine
- Signed an IBA with the Matachewan First Nation
- Appointed an EPCM contractor and awarded a shaft development contract
- Received key permit for the development of the Young-Davidson Mine.
